Preety place, ain´t it?

Feeling very happy right now, everything starts to fall in the perfect places...I´ve had my share of sad, unsure moments in my lifetime, and I´ve come to think finding peace and joy comes from trusting life is perfect, not being afraid of anything, specially of oneself, and believing anything is posible. Enjoy!
Love love love life!

Breakfast and Times they are a Changin

I haven`t been able to upload any new photos these days because I misplaced my camera`s battery pack charger. My dad took this one with his iphone this morning when he came to visit and surprised us having delicious breakfast with hash browns.
We are starting to wrap up this first three months living in the farm and planning our travels, which for me is bittersweet. It`s hard to say goodbye to a place I love and such an amazing time in our lives, but at the same time feel so happy for new things to come, new people, new places, new seasons and new moments.
It has been such a pleasure, this hole ride, and I am forever grateful.
In love, in love, in love and happy, I wish you all a good night sleep.

SO HAPPY AND BLESSED WE ARE

Such a lovely morning here!
I´m heading to the city a little later for some errands and will be back tomorrow. After a night, a day, and another night of rain, we wake up today with an amazing surprise: The stream is flowing! Right next to the house, down on the creek, there´s water flowing and the sound it makes is music to our ears!! A ma zing!
Also, check it out!! The loaf of bread!! I used the same recipe as the last two times but we added about half a cup of choped fresh olives from this area!! Yummylicious!!
And, check out all the veggies I just harvested and will be bringing to my dear tribe, specially those cute nephews of mine, whose little bodies will enjoy the organic fresh goodness more than anyone.

Happy Thursday everybody!!!
Hip! Hip! Hurra!

This CHLOƉ ankle boots are on my wish list!! Or a more affordable version, but I love the style and I have a hard time finding high boots that fit my not-really-slim calves... it´s a family thing, my father gave that to me and my siblins, tcha!
But anyways, nice boots, huh?

Still in love with life po!

I´ve been going through lot of emotions and thoughts this week. Deciding or processing, picturing future travels, analizing and observing myself and my close ones and just sort of reposing while it rained cats and monkeys over our roof. We watched the first Chile soccer match on the World cup and they won and it was kind of a starnge mood week which passed by either really quick or really slow, I´m not sure. I have a visa interview next tuesday, starting to actually see California in the close future!!
I´ve been a bad, bad blogger, I know. Soooooorryyyyy!
I still Love Life, though. Do you?

I´m sad and tired today and I feel like being a little girl again in my mom and dad´s bed (they´re in the picture). I just want to post this picture and with it send them all my love and then that love can spread and multiply and shower over the entire earth and shine like the sun´s sparkling reflection over the Ocean´s face.

Isn´t it good to be Home again?

We left our home thursday evening and headed for the "big city" with lots of things to do and only one day to all of them. We came back on friday night really late with Carlos´family. The rest of the weekend was spent coming and back and forth from here and the house where they where staying in the close by beach town Cachagua, spending actually all of both days there and coming here only to sleep and I must say it was all just exhausting, today was the first day I could be here all day and catch up with evrything. I know I must sound conceided and exagerated but well, I guess I´ve gotten used to going through my days on my own rithm and I love it. Just keeping the house clean, cooking and going for an inspiring walk on a gorgeous morning after it rained all night was enough to keep me busy all day and make me so happy. I am a home girl after all
PS: I would really love to upload my photos much bigger but I don´t know how to do it, please if you know how leave me a comment and teach me! Please!

THIS IS DEEP

photo of Metatron, Archangel work in progress (detail) by Carlos Eguiguren W.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

The above speech by Nelson Mandela was orignally written by Marianne Williamson who is the author of other similar material.

Look what We made!

Since we´ve lived here, preety isolated with no car and the closest little grocery shop a half an hour walk away, we never bought bread again and have been baking our yummy own. I always improvise and just mix and hope for good results, but lately I became obsessed with baking a really nice loaf following a recipe and it was a fantastic success!!! I followed this recipe from Smitten Kitchen, and spent most of yesterday working (or waiting) on it. I had to replace the powdered milk for regular milk and the whole wheat flour for Rye cause that´s what we had, but it turned out great!! On the photos you can see the kneading, the bread ready to go in the oven and the final result finely sliced! I love it!! Yum! just had some of it for breakfast. Lovely lovely Wednesday!

Also, here´s a pic of me yesterday on one of my waiting for the dough to rise moments playing this little red guitar that Carlos made from scratch completely with his two hands! It has three electric guitar strigs and is beautiful!! Love!!!

CAJAS DE HUEVOS ROSADAS CON SEMILLAS DE BELLOTO ADENTRO

Are You a Hosewife?
I´ve become a housewife (i´m not married but still).
When a was weetol or say, younger, I wasnt sure if would ever wanto be one.
such a way to parade it as an undignified unaproved unapreciated ocupation by the media, no?
my situation here as a non working, relaxed in the farm with no kids life style is only temporary, but still, I am living the life of a housewife I would say, and a happy little one as well, so I wish to put out, for a change, a rather good -no wait lovely and beautuful aproach to the concept.
Being a Housewife is being a woman who is in love with a man, loves him so, and out of this love will do anything to keep their nest clean and beautyful, bringing smells from the kitchen that would make anyone feel they are HOME.
maybe I´m just fantasising, but hey, this is my blog after all.
Do you Love the photo of Belloto seeds in the pink egg containers? I smile at it.

Love and Blessings to you all, Happy Tuesday!
